BEACHCOMBERS HOTEL & RESORT

Hillmorr are proud to play part of the refurbishment of ‘The Beachie’ located in Toukley on the NSW Central Coast. The Beachcomber has been relaunched as a 4-star, 80-room resort offering multiple indoor and outdoor bars, restaurants, six function rooms, gaming facilities as well as expansive guest facilities including 20 metre pool, sauna, gymnasium and wellness services.

Hillmorr was tasked to supply high-performance commercial grade wallpaper for the 80 rooms as well as the internal hallways and reception lift lobby areas. Three designs from our DELFT COLLECTION were selected, ‘ 1252 Dappled Palm’ 1300 ‘Imperial’ and ‘1258 La Canada.’ ‘ La Canada’ was custom coloured to match a Dulux paint reference to match the finishes perfectly. Soft water-coloured hues of blues, greys and crisp whites reflect the coastal feel of this refurbishment and tie in beautifully with the selected wallpapers.

Our LINEN vinyl wallcovering was selected as the substrate for this project. Chosen for it’s robustness, deep-embossing and textured coastal look and feel. Furthermore, like all our substrates is FR compliant and cleanable, suitable for high-traffic areas.

Being many thousands of square metres, the wallpaper for this project was produced in stages, allowing the installer to manage the installation with more efficiency. Therefore, Hillmorr produced, over a period of months, consistent colour production throughout and only produced the wallpaper on demand and when required on site.
